As the plane slowly descends amidst the grandeur of the mountains, you will be treated to stunning landscapes all around. Upon arrival in Paro, you will begin your special journey by visiting the National Museum, which was once a watchtower and a fortress guarding the city. Here, you will experience Bhutan's rich history and its captivating culture.
Next, continue your journey to Paro Dzong, a fortress perched on a beautiful hill, often referred to as a jewel of Bhutan. This historic structure serves as the center of administration and is home to hundreds of monks. The architectural beauty of this site makes it one of the most sought-after destinations to visit. It is also a filming location for the famous movie The Little Buddha.
Afterward, visit the Kyichu Lhakhang, a sacred temple of great historical and spiritual significance to the Bhutanese people. Here, you may participate in a ritual of lighting 108 butter lamps as offerings to the Buddha and seek blessings from the deities. If you wish to take part in this ritual, please inform the guide in advance.
Following the visit, proceed to Thimphu, the capital city, where the lively atmosphere harmoniously blends with peaceful surroundings. Nestled in nature, this charming city offers a unique balance of tranquility and vibrance.

Start your new day with a journey to Cheri Goemba, a peaceful monastery built in 1620 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. It houses his relics, and the serene atmosphere and charm of the temple allow you to feel the sacredness and tranquil energy in every corner.
On the way to the monastery, you will pass the palace of the Queen Mother of the King, before arriving at Memorial Chorten, a stupa built in 1974 to honor King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, the third king of Bhutan. Here, you will experience the grandeur and deep history embedded in the stupa.
Next, we will visit the Takin Sanctuary, home to Bhutan's national animal, which is rare to see. Youll also enjoy a beautiful view of Thimphu city from Sangaygang Viewpoint, surrounded by mountains. After lunch, we will visit the Textile Museum, showcasing Bhutanese woven fabrics and traditional dresses from different regions of the country. Youll have the opportunity to appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship of Bhutanese textiles, and you can even purchase some unique, meaningful pieces as souvenirs.
We will then head to Tashichhoe Dzong, a beautiful and significant architectural landmark in Thimphu. It serves as the government office, a temple, and the summer palace of the Chief Abbot.
Next, we will visit the Bhutan Post Office, known for its beautiful stamps. Here, you can take photos and even design your own stamp as a memorable keepsake from this special journey.
Finally, we will travel to Punakha to visit Punakha Dzong, a fortress located in an enchanting setting that looks as though its come from a fairy tale, filled with historical significance for you to explore.

Start your day with a journey to Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger's Nest. This monastery is perched on a steep cliff, an awe-inspiring sight that symbolizes faith, defying both gravity and time. Legend has it that Guru Rinpoche transformed into a Garuda and flew on the back of a tiger to meditate and spread teachings in the small cave on this cliff. The approximately 2-kilometer path to Taktsang Monastery is filled with faith, surrounded by the purity of nature, with views of pine forests and the refreshing breeze that adds energy to reach your destination.
